Dr. Wesley Karlson grew up in Hermiston, Oregon, and graduated from high school in 2001. He then attended Brigham Young University, graduating in 2008, followed by Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his degree in 2013. He completed the US Army’s 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2016 and became certified by the American Board of General Dentistry in 2017.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Karlson entered Active Duty service as an officer and dentist for the US Army, serving from 2013 to 2019. In 2019, he and his wife moved back to the Tri-Cities to raise their four children near family. He began working at West Richland Family Dental as an associate in 2019 and became a partner in January 2021.

Dr. Karlson's favorite aspect of dentistry is helping people learn to manage and value their oral health. He is grateful for the amazing staff at West Richland Family Dental and is committed to continuing to support the thriving community so together we can "Smile Health and Live Happy."
